How To Study For Competitive Exams?

1. Always find a quiet place for study

No one can study at noisy place who can't concentrate. So always study in quiet room and keep the door close if you are living with your family so that your family members don't disturb.

2. Make Time Table for your whole day activities

Making time table will help you study as planned and you will not waste time in doing useless things like surfing internet, watching TV too much, talking to friends , partner or parents too much. This doesn't mean you shouldn't talk to them but talk to them in limit so that you can study enough for the day

3. Follow the 1 , 7, 30 Days Rule for Revisions

It is very import to Revision your books and study notes when exams are in the year end or little far in future , otherwise you won't remember what you studied. So in order to remember something for long time Once you've read the chapter do revision next day then after 7 days and lastly after 30 days. 3 times revision will be enough for not forgetting it , and also revision the chapter just before exam too. This Rule helps a lot when you are preparing for a exam which have huge syllabus.

4.Make charts and put them on the wall of your Study Room

Making charts helps a lot when you have to learn difficult words, name of states,and date of events etc.

5. Teach someone else

Teaching someone will help you remember the theory and understand the logic behind it as well.And when students ask you questions it will force you to think the whole story in your mind.

6. Join study group

Joining study group is very helpful to understand the concepts which you couldn't understand by yourself , and group study will help you learn something new about that topic. you can also learn their way of giving answers which might be better than you. you can practice vocal test in the group study in order to improve your speaking skills.

7. Take Mock Tests

Taking mock tests will help you not to get nervous in exam. It will also help you know which topic of the relevant subject is not covered/ read by you. So that you can revise it before the exam.
