The Land of Forests - Democratic Republic of Congo

Congo was ruled by Belgium for a long time. But it became independent country on 30th june 1960.

  • Area - 2,345,409 km2
  • Population - 78,736,153 as of 2017
  • Capital - Kinshasa
Resources - Congo has one of the largest river of the world
                     It has forests , wildlife , soil, minerals & water power
Agriculture and Mining are main industry 

Forest:- Equatorial or tropical rain forests also it has one of the largest reserves of hardwood in the world

Wildlife - Gigantic Zoo , Snakes , Pythons, Monkeys , Elephants and Hippopotamuses 

Soil & Crops -  1/5 part of the land is under cultivation because of cast forest cover.
The main food crops are rice , maize , cassava
and the main cash crops are rubber , coffee , cotton , oil-palm for export

Minerals and industry

It has Vast reserves of copper , diamond , cobalt , tin , zinc , manganese  and uranium

2/3 of it's population speak bantu language

चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य कौन था ?

चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य  चन्द्रगुप्त ,मौर्य वंश की स्थापना करने वाला राजा था। जिसका गुरु भारतीय इतिहास का महान व्यक्ति चाणक्य था, जिसने चन्द्रगुप्त को युद्ध व राज्य चलने की शिक्षा दी।  चन्द्रगुप्त ने मगध के नन्द  वंश के राजा को हराकर मौर्य वंश की स्थापना की। मगध का राजा बनने के पश्चात चन्द्रगुप्त ने उतर में पंजाब पर अलेक्जेंडर के राज को समाप्त करने की और ध्यान दिया। ( अलेक्जेंडर ने ३२६ ईसा पूर्व में पंजाब पे आक्रमण करके अपने अधीन  कर लिया था )  ३२३ ईसा पूर्व में अलेक्जेंडर की मृत्यु होने के पश्चात चन्द्रगुप्त ने पंजाब पर आक्रमण करके अपने अधीन कर लिया। अंततः ३०५ ईसा पूर्व में यूनान  राज्य के गवर्नर सेल्यूकस निकेटर को हराकर पूरा पंजाब , सिंध नदी घाटी व अफ़ग़ानिस्तान के कुछ हिस्से को अपने अधीन कर लिया। इसी के साथ पूरा उतर भारत मौर्य वंश के अधीन आ गया।  चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य का पुत्र - बिंदुसार  राजधानी :- पाटलीपुत्र ( वर्तमान - पटना ) चन्द्रगुप्त मौर्य का गुरु - चाणक्य ( कोटल्य नाम से भी  जाना जाता है। ) अपने पुत्र को राज्य सौंपने के पश्चात चन्द्...
